Aveum is a personal energy optimisation tool. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how we use it. We keep this simple because we believe you deserve to understand it.
Your data is used only to power the Aveum dashboard — showing you live energy prices, optimising when your battery charges and exports, scheduling your EV charging, and calculating your savings. We do not use it for any other purpose.
Credentials and energy data are stored securely. We use industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest. We do not store more data than is necessary to run the service.
You can delete your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us. You can also disconnect any device at any time from within the app, which will stop us accessing that device's data immediately.
Aveum connects to third-party APIs (Octopus Energy, GivEnergy, myenergi, etc.) on your behalf. When you provide credentials for these services, you are subject to their privacy policies in addition to this one. We only read data from these services — we never write or make changes without your explicit instruction.
